As the Product Manager of K3 Pebblestone (vertical solution on top of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) I’m responsible for rebuilding the 30 years old solution based on Navision On-premises to a new modern cloud-based solution for the fashion wholesale industry. Releasing from one’s a year to monthly releasing brings a completely new way of working. Adjusting the team's development and release approach has been among the numerous challenges successfully navigated. Building and maintaining strong relationships with our partner network and end customers as an ISV is vital for the solution's success. Maintaining regular contact with product peers at the partners provides crucial insights into market trends and developments.Storytelling became the driving force behind the product success. Every great product begins with a story, capturing the customer’s interest. A modern cloud solution is more than just the code itself; it is about how the customer can solve their business challenges and explaining this in business language, that resonates with customers.

In this role, I was responsible to manage REALIZe, the e-commerce solution, based on the open-source platform nopCommerce. REALIZe enables small to medium size wholesales to connect with their B2B and B2C customers anytime and anywhere. From creating the roadmap, managing the backlog (5 developers) until testing, documenting, demonstrating and selling the complete solution. Integration to the ERP back-office and POS system was part of work to create a complete solution.

The world of the (fashion) wholesaler is undergoing dynamic change. Forward and reverse chain integration is rapidly becoming the norm and the voice of the end-consumers is growing louder and more important. These developments have a significant impact with respect to the IT solutions that the sector needs and as Product Manager Fashion, I have dedicated my time to these issues. As part of a team of consultants and developers, I have combined existing products such as pebblestone|fashion (wholesale) and LS Retail (retail) to create new solutions.The demand for standard software in the IT sector is increasing. How can existing products better integrate with business processes without customization? How can standard software be best demonstrated? In conjunction with the supplier of pebblestone|fashion, I have developed a demo database which can be used to demonstrate the software using the customer’s business processes.As Product Manager Fashion, I represent K3 Business Solutions in the Software Council of GS1 Netherlands, which encourages working in accordance with the GS1 EDI standard within the fashion branch to ultimately promote the higher aim of improved cooperation within the chain.

In this dual role, I was responsible as Account Manager for a large number of existing customers, including ASICS Europe BV, Van Bommel and Vingino, and as Pre-Sales Consultant for demonstrating Pebblestone|fashion and other software. The challenge for me has always been to professionalise the demonstrations and to use system demos in combination with other modes of presentation with a view to getting the message across clearly and succinctly.

In the role of Pre-Sales Consultant, I was responsible for demonstrating Pebblestone|fashion to existing clients and prospects.

Account Manager for the following countries; Italy, Switzerland, England, Ireland, Greece, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic and Iceland. Responsible for the sales of the Oilily collection (children’s wear, women’s wear and bags) and maintenance of the accounts. Reporting and analysing seasonal results and improving key account management (Harrods) and writing of accounts plans.

As a member of the management team responsible for strategic decisions and leading 11 employees in different departments of the company; Sales, Purchasing, Prodution and Logistics. Implementation of ERP-system, improving and optimising the working methods and processes. Price and margin control for the all the collections.

Responsible for key accounts (Essent, Monuta, NH Hoteles) sales and client maintenance – corporate wear and project management from concept to manufacturing and delivery. Price control, forecasting and profit assessment.

Leading a team of 3 internal sales agents. Sales of corporate wear through telemarketing.
