As a software test automation engineer, I was responsible for writing and implementing Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Test Scripts in accordance with Business Requirements. I also automated the Sprint Stories based on the Acceptance Criteria.To accomplish these tasks, I utilized various tools and technologies. For example, I used Apache POI to develop automation Java code that read and wrote Excel files. I also used Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) to connect to database sources and used SQL to verify data and validate it from the PostgreSQL Database.In terms of testing, I executed both manual and automated UI and API testing for a Web-Based Application. I utilized POJO and POM pattern designs with TestNG, Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured, Postman, and Maven. This allowed me to gain valuable experience in utilizing various testing frameworks and libraries.Specifically for API testing, I utilized HTTP methods such as Get, Put, Post, and Delete to hit the API with Postman. This allowed me to effectively test the API and ensure that it met the necessary requirements.
