As a Learning Specialist, I work one-on-one with around 15 regular students of a variety of ages and learning challenges to support them academically and socially. Our programs are skills based and evidence backed, centered in Orton-Gillingham practices. I worked as a student employee in the interlibrary loan office during the school year and full-time in the summers of 2016 and 2019. Duties included locating patron requested articles in databases, scanning requested books, and properly labeling package for mailing.

Wrote several articles over the course of a few months, ranging from columns to interviews. While I was the content writer for these pieces, there were separate people for editing and publishing.

A family owned breakfast and lunch diner where I worked part time throughout high school, occasionally picking up shifts through college as needed since everyone is friends there. Did a little bit of everything including: cashiering, hostessing, takeout, training, and working at the summer snack shack two years. Tasks included: opening/closing my area, greeting customers, answering the phone, cash handling, managing card accounts, cleaning the area, stocking, food handling, making drinks, taking orders, seating guests, delivering food, cashing out waitresses, and appropriate billing of snack shack customers
