I signed on as a two-month contractor but was offered a full time position after my first month. My original job was to create the new brand that would embody the company prior to its launch. Later, I was brought on full time to complete layouts for the e-learning suite (in InDesign) and to create and design the quizzes used to track trainee progress (using Adobe Captivate). Three months later, I was given a team of two other designers and assigned the role of department manager.

Designed the curriculum for the Matthayom 4-6 (10-12th grade) English department, spanning 3 levels of understanding. Created all of the coursework materials and themed worksheets per unit. Designed a teachers guide booklet including detailed lesson plans and answer sheets. Laid out the makeshift textbooks that would be printed for the students each year. Coordinated the governmental logistics for foreign teacher paperwork and visa applications. Planned and executed English camp for over 300 students and 35 teachers. Prepared the senior level students for their college entry exams

Designed the artwork for all standard bakery boxes and trays that run on their web-offset printing machines. Ensured printability of customer designs and recreated artwork when necessary. Create in-house marketing materials and special design projects for high profile clients. Designed personalized booklets for agents to carry and show potential clients the capabilities of the presses. Monitored color management, file setup, file ripping, and plate making before each press run.

Taught Matthayom 4-6 (10th-12th grade) level English. Created and implemented my own 5 unit coursework set. Judged 5 English competitions centered around spelling, story telling, song writing, poetry and practiced speech. Judged end of term presentations for Matthayom 1-3 (7th-9th grade) - amassing over 300 children. Lead a group of 50 for English camp.

Worked in the art department creating sample projects to highlight the capabilities of each Heidelberg presses. Create multi-page booklets and cater them toward the clients coming to preview a press run. Test the limits of what was their then-new digital press. Create monthly newsletters and mailers highlighting what is new with Heidelberg. Planned and executed their annual Heidelberg party for USA, Germany, Mexico, and Canada just before I returned to school.

I was in charge of the bakery boxes and trays that ran on our web-offset printing machines. It was my job to ensure printability of customer designs, recreating their artwork if necessary. I was responsible for designing the artwork for the pieces that the sales force would take with them to meetings. I also had the opportunity to work directly with some of the "custom" clients to create the dieline and artwork for their ideal packaging.
