It is the world’s largest cannabis company for medical and recreational customers. In my role, I worked closely with key C-suite stakeholders to develop communication strategies that told the story of Canopy’s medical and recreational brands. At Canopy, I led multi-channel PR campaigns for high-profile transactions such as the acquisition of BioSteel, strategic partnerships with the NHL Alumni Association and research initiatives including a collaboration with UBC and the BC Government. In my role, I worked closely with the CEO and Leadership Team to ensure BroadbandTV was positively covered by North American and local media publications. My key accomplishments included landing media placements in a wide range of publications including The Globe & Mail, Maclean’s, and the Vancouver Sun, and I secured a number of major awards for the CEO including BC Tech Association's Person of the Year and Canada's 40 under 40. I also managed speaking engagements at relevant technology and media industry conferences for company spokespeople.
