Aly is the main point of contact for all CAC staff and Board of Trustees.With a keen eye on the IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility) strategy for the CAC, Aly is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and valued. Aly co-leads a diverse staff IDEA team with representation from all levels and departments.Passionate about implementing sustainability and wellness through the lens of human resources, Aly oversees employee recycling and waste reduction, as well as strengths-building learning opportunities. She leads the environmental sustainability strategy of the institution and the renovation of the existing building, designed by Zaha Hadid. She is a member of the Green Business Council, Green Umbrella Waste Reduction Action Team, Cincinnati 2030 District, International Living Future Institute (ILFI), and International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). Currently Aly also leads the CAC's Covid Task Force, strategizing comprehensive policies to provide the safest possible environment for staff and visitors.Aly is the creator and editor of her animal-friendly food and lifestyle blog, The Vegan Spy, and a writer for Cruelty-Free Kitty.
