I head the communications, event coordination, and marketing outreach for Buttonwood Due Diligence, a third-party due diligence and investment research firm in the alternative investment industry. I have over 15 years' experience in community outreach and team management. I love working with people and making new connections, and am excited to be a part of Buttonwood's growth and forward momentum in the alternative investment community. I am currently the Co-Founder and Operator of a child safety product company, Kideaux. I have designed and developed various consumer products and currently hold 2 U.S utility patents. One of which is the Kideaux Dragon. My experiences from starting a company from scratch (literally!) has taught me more than I can quantify. The process of envisioning an idea, making it into a reality, and then making that idea accessible to others has been an amazing journey, one that I'm still thrilled to be on.I am also the Co-founder and Operator of a local environmental cleanup and recycling company designed to help kids become involved in recycling while learning about business operations from website design to customer management. This company was formed from my passion for the environment and a desire to make a difference and get our children involved in creating something that can make a difference as well. I manage all aspects of the companies I've co-founded including: - Social media marketing, - Website design and analytics, - Product development and sourcing, - Community outreach,- Customer management*** A bit about me personally ***I am wife to Steve Ogrin, my partner in life, love and a few businesses to boot. We share 6 kids; the real-life "Yours, Mine and Ours." I've learned amazing schedule management skills just from trying to keep up with our daily life! I love the outdoors and nature, and consider myself extremely fortunate to live in the beautiful state of Colorado. I'm a true mountain girl at heart. I'm also an extremely competitive person that finds traditional exercise boring and therefore loves to play sports. Hockey and tennis are my top go-to's to get my heart pumping. I'm learning to golf as well, so look out world! Seriously... FORE!
