Advised on all aspects of employment law for a wide range of domestic and international public and private sector clients with an emphasis on practical and commercially focused advice. I also advised on health and safety, privacy, data security and hospitality issues including alcohol licensing and gaming.

Provided employment relations advice to line managers, manage and resolved employment cases for the Ministry, lead collective bargaining on behalf of the Ministry for Ministry employees and develop and maintain Ministry internal employment polices and draft employment agreements. During my time at the Ministry I lead a team that successfully renegotiated two collective agreements with the Public Service Association and the New Zealand Education Institute that together covered approximately 1500 employees.
