Soon after, she worked as an Events and Promotions Assistant at a range of events including Sounds Group (We Love Sounds Winter Music Festival), Granada Productions (Australia’s Next Top Model) and Gymnastics State Championships NSW. At the same time, Alyssia completed an Advanced Diploma in Event Management qualifying with a grade point distinction.Alyssia began her professional career in 2008 as an Event Planner for the Dockside Group, a company with a portfolio of eight waterfront iconic venues and restaurants specialising in corporate events, gala dinners, awards nights, conferencing, weddings and private celebrations. Working her way through the ranks Alyssia was soon promoted to Event Manager in 2010. A further promotion in early 2011, saw the appointment of Alyssia as respective Senior Event Manager for the Venue Corporate Event Management Team, resulting in the management and leadership of the events department of up to five direct reports who collectively executed 1000+ events annually across four of its venues.
