Director Of Student Success
Current- Assist in managing mass emergencies and providing emergency support to teams and students on-site- Conduct medical follow-ups, respond to any participant concerns, manage participant issues in consultation with VP, Health, Safety & Student Success and on-site Resident Coordinators and Resident Directors, etc.- Manage after-hours emergency phone line throughout the year- Liaise with students, parents, U.S. based university faculty & staff, and international based staff on all issues related to student success- Perform Student Case Management for customized, high school, college and internship programs abroad within a portfolio which includes countries within Asia, Europe, Latin America, and Oceania- Lead pre-departure orientations- Standardize the student experience to ensure consistency on-site with API teams, particularly across student development of career readiness skills and global workforce preparations- Oversee the student evaluation process, including creating summaries and program evaluations for programs within a portfolio and disseminate as necessary- Discern and incorporate feedback for program improvements and staff training- Spirit of Excellence Award, February 2024
