Alysha has great breadth of experience, spending over a decade of her career in the educational system. She spent 6 years in the classroom as an educator, before moving into the role of Preschool Director, and then Assistant Principal. She graduated from Lake Washington Institute of Technology with her AAS in Early Childhood Education, earning recognition on both the Dean’s List and President’s List, and finally graduating Cum Laude. She then went to Northwest University, also graduating Cum Laude, with a Major in Organization Leadership and a Minor in Humanitarian Leadership. She then left the educational system to pursue a career in full-time ministry, and currently works as the Community Connections Coordinator in Bothell, connecting the church to humanitarian issues in the surrounding community. Alysha now spends her time working with humanitarian issues, predominately homelessness, and assisting those with mental health illness. In her free time, you can find her in the streets of downtown Seattle, serving those that are in crisis.Alysha is a writer, author, creator and educator. Her book, The Color of God was published in 2021 and held #1 for multiple weeks on Amazon's "New Releases", under the category of Children's Christian Family Fiction. She has been a speaker, for numerous years, at the Northwest Ministry Conference, leading workshops on how to honor diverse people groups in the ministry setting.
