CURE was founded by parents who were frustrated with their inability to protect their children from seizures and the side effects of medications. Unwilling to sit back, they joined forces to spearhead the search for a cure. Since its inception in 1998, CURE has raised more than $70 million to fund epilepsy research and other initiatives that will lead the way to cures for the epilepsies. I lead the development team and work with donors to increase funding for the critical research CURE funds.

Provided strategic direction and management to the alumnae/i relations program.

Responsible for fundraising from and volunteer management of the Alumni Association of Rush Medical College. This included the Executive Council of the Alumni Association, four subcommittees and the Benjamin Rush Society ($2,000+ annual giving society). Also responsible for a major gift portfolio of 80-100 alumni prospects.
