Through the IB diploma program and my undergraduate studies, I have dedicated my academic life to studying Psychology and Health Studies. I conducted multiple quantitative and qualitative research projects on child and family psychology, developmental psychology, and cultural social psychology, as well as self-published a content analysis on the hyper-local response of a food pantry's services.My current roles as social media manager for my family-run nonprofit and an active volunteer social worker represent my passion for lifelong learning, public health and serving marginalized groups. I am forever committed to advocating for food security, child well-being, and racial/ethnic identity conflict. I exercise flexibility, open mindedness, and genuine compassion when collaborating with others and accomplishing our collective goals.In my spare time, I find great joy in creating and commissioning paintings using a wide array of mediums. My artworks range from abstract watercolor portraits resembling stained glass to traditional oil painted landscapes of an oasis escape. My ability to create and think outside the box applies greatly to the occupational worlds of mental health, social work, and creative media.
