Leadership - led a group of Chinese exchange students in and around Christchurch for three weeks, being their first point of contact during this time. Administration - administrative tasks such as data entry, talking to International students, and organizing events and International programmes for the International Relationships Office.

Beijing City, China

Studied at the China's most prestigious university - Peking University in Beijing, China for six weeks, while also working on a research project for the Canterbury Mayoral Forum. At the University, time was spent learning the language, culture, history and other various aspects of China. For the research project, I worked with three other students focusing on food preferences for Chinese travellers in New Zealand. We surveyed, analysed and reported on these findings to the Canterbury Mayoral Forum. This internship really enhanced a variety of valuable skills, ranging from interpersonal, communication and openness to different opinions, personalities and experiences, to professional, research and analytic skills.
