In this role, I support the academic progress and personal wellbeing of over 400 first-year students residing in Elm Yard. I oversee a team of 14 adult academic advisors and mentors who live in residence and am part of the University's on-call system. Additionally, I serve as a member of the Administrative Board that hears disciplinary cases and evaluates petitions for exceptions to college policies. As an advisor, provide advice and information to support first year students as they navigate the transition into College and ensure they have a foundation to successfully complete their degrees and have a meaningful and transformative experience at Harvard College.

In this role, Alysha oversees several programs including the Mindich Service Fellows, Harvard Clubs Summer Community Service Fellowship Program, Public Service Recruiting Day, the Harvard Winnovation Program, and SPARK. Alysha is responsible for building and sustaining community partnerships and relationships with alumni/ae across the country in order to provide students with professional opportunities in the public interest sector.

Initially hired as a fry cook, initially. Charged with cooking and serving over 20 different menu items and handling cash. Promoted to manager in 2012. Hired and managed 18+ employees. Created a business plan and monthly budget. Oversaw daily operations of a $55,000+ dollar enterprise. Under my management, the eatery realized a 10% increase in revenue over two years.
