In that role, every decision I influenced was directly tied to driving company performance and investment returns. I worked with CEOs who were seeking to invest in developing intense self-awareness, and leverage that to optimize their positive impact. This led to refining the selection, execution, development and succession decisions for various organizations, and influenced board composition and management/board engagement. For investors, I specialized in leadership due diligence (fit and risk relative to the given strategy, assets and competitive position), talent selection and development, and board governance. I am fortunate to work with premier clients who typically led their industries and viewed talent as a competitive advantage, across private equity and venture firms, hedge funds, corporations, and professional sports teams--particularly those facing inflection (high growth, turnaround, or business model transformation).
