I conducted neighborhood walkability audits using Google Maps Streetview data to assess the relationship between physical environment and cognitive decline.

Planned, organized, and participated in a door-to-door survey following the Community Assessment for Public Health Emergency Response (CASPER) methodology to assess opioid overdose awareness in Allegheny County. Authored professional report and delivered two presentations about the project.

In this position I was the onsite supervisor on New Orleans Area Habitat construction sites. I oversaw volunteers and AmeriCorps members to build 10 single family, single story houses in New Orleans. I also coordinated deliveries and scheduled subcontractors. I managed the 2017 Women's Build, leading over 400 female volunteers to build a house in twelve days. I represented the affiliate in numerous print media, social blog posts, dedication ceremonies, and news interviews.

In this position, I led and supervised volunteers on Habitat for Humanity construction sites. I conduct orientation and safety trainings for volunteers. I attended the National Service Leadership Conference and two weeks of Build a Thon 2015 in New Orleans

I was responsible for leading and supervising volunteers on both new construction and repair construction sites. I conducted safety orientation and led volunteers on construction tasks. Assisted partner families in tracking required sweat equity hours. I provided logistic support for the 2013 Carter Work Project. This entailed providing equipment, supplies, and support to 15 Critical Home Repair sites. I attended the National Service Leadership Conference and participated in Build a Thon in Des Moines, Iowa.

Krispy Kreme Challenge, Inc. is a student-run 501c(3) nonprofit which annually organizes the largest charity race in North Carolina. I managed the 8th annual race in 2012, which donated $127,000 to the North Carolina Children's HospitalAs co-chair, I was responsible for overseeing three committees and 40 people to organize the event. I coordinated with North Carolina State University, the Raleigh Police Department, and local businesses to conduct a safe event with minimal community disturbance. I also worked with local and national sponsors, and served as a liaison to our public relations firm. I wrote and received a $7,500 grant from the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau for advertising. 7,800 runners participated, hailing from 48 states and 18 countries.

I worked under Dr. Donald Ortner in the department of Physical Anthropology as a research assistant. My research examined aging effects on human cortical bone. My responsibilities included preparing femoral cross sections and performing analysis with a scanning electron microscope.
