I assist in day to day billing in our computer system Crown Data Systems. I audit our weekly & monthly invoicing for accuracy. I oversee most driver route paperwork from creation & distribution to organizing & filing upon their return. I prepare driver packets including freight delivery orders & any documentation needed for linehaul freight outbound to our Chicago branch. I organize & scan in proof of deliveries for invoice processing. I sort & file airline receipts, commercial packing lists, damage freight notations, & misc paperwork provided for invoicing from both drayage & intermodal departments. I assist dispatchers with answering phone calls from drivers & customers; handling any question or emergency that may arise. I answer emails from customers; producing freight quotes, updating shipment status & sending invoices/proof of delivery. I maintain and reconcile freight on hand counts to ensure accurate storage fees onsite. I assist our warehouse attendants with locations of freight & providing/researching shipments.

I am responsible for processing payroll and activities related to the processing of compensation for Tran Tech Company drivers as well as Independent Contractors for Tran Tech & KC Transportation. I fully audit/prepare/calculate driver work records and use the McLeod program to track mileage. I maintain payroll spreadsheets with all proper driver work record information, corrections, holiday pay, vacation pay, cash advances, and any other deductions on a week-to-week basis. I also maintain and reconcile independent contractor insurance charges and other payroll deductions included in their settlements. I participate in the driver orientation process as well as research and respond to payroll and settlement inquires.

I analyze the data for errors, report problems with the data, accurately enter information into various computer programs, and keep sensitive customer or company information confidential. I am also proficient with 10-key, have meticulous attention to detail, and during this time I processed over 3,000 customer orders per month

Fill customer orders quickly and accurately, abiding with company and OSHA regulations. Worked not only as an individual but as a team in a warehouse settings. Did general scanning of packages to build pallets, trained in over-sized/big box handling, wrapped pallets quickly and efficiently to met safety regulations, loaded and unloaded packages from trucks in loading docks, oversaw pallets on the warehouse floor and checked them for accuracy of location.

I meet and greet customers, ring up purchases, and answer questions about our products, policies, and services. My other job responsibilities include communicating with coworkers and maintaining a clean work environment.

Becoming a crew trainer is the next step up from crew member. As a crew trainer, I am responsible for training crew members for their day-to-day work serving customers, preparing food, keeping our restaurants and kitchens clean and tidy and working well as part of a team. As part of my role, I assess crew members' skills and offer them extra help with any tasks they may have problems with. I was also called up to be Manager-In-Training but turned the offer down to other opportunities that arose
