Practice Manager
Current* Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice and ensuring compliance with relevant State & Federal regulations. * Managing all financial aspects of the practice, including budgets & cashflow forecasts, payroll, superannuation, accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all insurances are up to date, reconciliation of month end and monthly workpapers for review by the CEO. * Preparation of month end Financial Reports including a comparisons of actual results to budget and commentary around variance. Create a monthly report template (working with CEO to develop) for effective communication of key financial aspects of the Practice including but not limited to productivity by staff (comparison to production planner); write-off’s; contribution margin of business units; contribution margin of clients; analysis of rolling client revenue average YOY.* New client set up, engagement letters, ethical letters, onboarding, Xero & XPM set up, work with Business Services Manager to ensure ATO and ASIC onboarding are completed, work with Bookkeeping manager to ensure banking log-in’s and correct Xero access is completed. * Managing the practice’s human resources, including recruitment, training, and performance management. Create a training plan for each employee based on their upskilling requirements. * Preparation and lodgement of BAS & IAS, assist with the preparation of year-end tax workpapers for the S&S Practice & associated Trusts. * Developing and maintaining the practice policies and procedures. * Managing the practice’s IT infrastructure and ensuring that it is up-to-date and secure. Look to improvements across the Practice to increase efficiency.* Managing the practice’s marketing and business development activities.* Attend weekly WIP meetings.* Set up / organise client and staff functions. * Work collaboratively with senior members of the VCFO, Compliance & Tax & Bookkeeping & Management Reporting teams.* Support the company CEO.
