Responsible for the effective implementation, operation and continual improvement of Westpac’s business recovery solutions and recovery locations including - Development of Westpac’s BC Recovery Strategy- Acting as an advisor to Technology with respect to supporting the effective implementation of BC principles- Gathering, analysing and interpreting information to identify & better understand Business Continuity issues and risks to the Business Recovery Strategy - Maintaining a detailed knowledge and understanding of how to practically apply and evidence compliance with appropriate Australian and International Regulatory Standards, the Group’s Operational Risk & Compliance frameworks and business owned Polices and Operating Models - Liaising with business units to capture requirements and implement recovery solutions in line with Westpac’s Recovery Strategy - Collate feedback on effectiveness of Business Continuity testing exercises to establish ongoing requirements and improvements- Perform assigned support role during incidents - Liaise with Technology to exercise and test the recovery solution for Business Continuity - Implement and observe emergency exercises across the Westpac Group- Act as on call duty officer, as scheduled, to support incident response capability. - Assist with the implementation of scenario based exercises for large key sites across the group- Managing relationships with external recovery site providers, Emergency Management training providers, Chief Wardens, Property Facilities managers, Group Property & Group Technology teams
