    I wasn't raised on a farm, but as a second-generation farmer, I have grown to understand the importance of family farms. Most people are 4-5 generations removed from agriculture. Our small family farms are disappearing at an alarming rate, being taken over by foreign countries, or gigantic corporations who care nothing for the land or the food they grow. I believe food can either heal our bodies or hurt our bodies, and I am a living testimony to that. As a steward of the farm God gave our family, I am passionate about educating people about the importance of farming, and supporting small business. Currently, our farm helps to feed the people of Williamson, Rutherford & Davidson counties. We sell direct to consumer at our farm store in Nolensville. Each summer and fall, we welcome over 15,000 people to our farm. As small business owners, our responsibilities don't fit neatly in one small box. I'm am HR, Finance, Compliance, Accounting, Safety, Training, Planning, Payroll, Marketing, Advertising, Sales, and more. I oversee 7 different cost centers and 20 seasonal employees. With no background in agriculture, I was able to improve revenue of the farm 850% in 7 years and we are still growing!
