My main role at this center was creating and implementing the curriculum for each classroom level. I was in charge of the pre-K room as well where I taught reading, writing, math, and science. I managed the schedule for the other teachers. Provided training opportunities to keep all teachers current. Upheld effective and consistent communication with parents at all times. Above all, ensured that the learning environment was structured to give each child an opportunity to learn and grow, both physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Communication with families was key and building that trust and relationship with parents and guardians so they knew their children were taken care of. Keep accurate training records for teachers to ensure they stay up to date. Facilitate monthly meetings. Drive the school bus for school age kids before and after school. Above all, foster a feeling of inclusion for all: parents, kids, and staff.
