Substation Construction Engineer
Current•Responsible for providing engineering and technical guidance for capital construction substation projects from conception through final construction to design engineers, supply chain, management, and construction personnel. • Ensure project needs are met including material, scope, and logistics through constant communication with multiple stakeholders including Engineering Design, Construction crews, and Management.• Create and manage Capital and Maintenance projects by estimating project costs in TEAMS and forecasting major materials needed.• Serves as the departments Invoice Reconciler in Maximo with responsibilities including processing invoice holds and approving invoices, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders. Ensure vendor promise dates meet the construction needs and communicate with Supply Chains of any needs. • Closeout all capital work orders by reconciling material units in TEAMS, sending asset retirements in PowerPlan to Property Accounting, and re-estimating work orders to match actual costs. • Support Construction and Maintenance efforts within the Transmission Organization.
