This includes developing relationships with fire fighter networks, chapter members, volunteers, clients, and other stakeholders as well as managing staff and volunteers.Responsibilities include:• Plan and execute annual Fire Fighter educational conference and award banquet• Fulfill requests for events, including supplies, insurance, media releases and fundraising pages• Lead Safeway Walk for Muscular Dystrophy Campaign in BC• Work with Executive Director of Western Canada, in making the Safeway Campaign a success, manage public relations, volunteer recruitment, and fire fighter involvement in BC• Responsible for the development, delivery and monitoring of other fundraising activities e.g. Buck for Luck, HOP, and Third Party activities• Write regional updates and articles, and manages social media platforms for BC office • Develops, implements and monitors a recognition/stewardship program for BC/Yukon Donors• Leads Regional awards program in BC/Yukon• Participates as part of the Western Region Leadership Team, contributing to annual direction and strategy.• Develops and monitors the budget for all revenue and related expense streams in BC• Ensures revenue development activity and gift information is properly coded and entered in Raiser’s Edge.
