Responsible for patient triage, taking vital signs, obtaining patient history, charting patient medical records, and communicating patient concerns to providers. I am also responsible for performing X-ray radiography, administering injections, performing EKGs, administering nebulizer treatments, practicing wound care, applying compression bandages, assisting during sterile procedures, performing phlebotomy, conducting urinalysis, and performing diagnostic tests, such as tests for Influenza, Covid-19, and Mononucleosis.

Responsible for aiding patients and their families and o ffering support to primary caregivers. My role includes visiting, offering emotional support and friendship, cleaning, aiding with everyday tasks, and allowing caregivers a short respite.

Responsible for direct healthcare of patients in the Neurology unit. My responsibilities included taking vital signs, monitoring patient health, addressing patient concerns, maintaining accurate patient records, collecting specimens for testing, helping patients with mobility and repositioning, maintaining cleanliness of patient rooms, assisting patients with personal hygiene, and transporting patients.

Responsible for assisting with industry-funded muscle biology and meat science projects. I am entrusted along with a team of graduate research students to collect valuable data and care for the animals. Through my research, I analyze the e ects of nicotinamide riboside, an NAD+ precursor, on the levels of mitochondrial DNA and types of muscle fibers. I am responsible for analyzing and processing electromyography and microscopic data. I practice several techniques including muscle biopsy, histology, DNA extraction, and PCR. I also practice animal caretaking skills including feeding, handling, and sanitation of the large animal research facility.

Responsible for animal handling, restraint, and holding during procedures. I observed a veterinarian in daily tasks, animal wellness visits, dental cleanings, and surgeries. Some of my job duties included preparing and administering vaccinations, checking vitals, giving medication, nail trims, anal gland expression, drawing blood, holding pets for x-rays, and monitoring patients during postoperative recovery. I also worked at the front desk and was responsible for keeping track of medical records and appointments, providing customer service, refilling prescriptions, and checking customers in and out of the establishment. I also completed daily cleaning and disposal of surgical waste.
