Throughout my life I have focused on making life better for those around me. During my ten years leading wilderness expeditions in the Rocky Mountains, my primary focus was the safety and collaboration of my teams. Time and again, I led my students and team mates to reach their goals by staying true to my conviction that having a solid plan and even better relationships make for a successful team. I hold a Masters in International Studies from the University of Wyoming. As I researched poverty-alleviation in Nepal, I developed a great appreciation for the Himalayas as well as excellent research skills in data collection and management. I am resilient, adaptable, and patient. I am an effective communicator and I am passionate about helping my team do high quality work.
