Assist Managing Director with evaluation of performance in sales, IPC (items per customer), and ADS (average dollar sales) on a monthly basis with each associate, and provide feedback on associates’ performance. Assist with closing procedures and/or open store and registers and complete opening procedures to ensure the store is ready for business. Assist in monitoring and controlling of budgeted expenses focusing on payroll management and supply expenses. Assist with the implementation of the store’s visual directives, and maintain standards of housekeeping, as outlined in the “District Manager’s Audit Report.” Ensure proper receipt, selling, markdown, and transfer of inventory within the store. Maintain and monitor the staff’s compliance with Company policies and procedures on sales, customer service, dress code, etc., and provide feedback to the Managing Director as needed. Assist in the recruiting process. Conduct associate and management recruiting and interviewing. Protect store assets and inventory. Monitor merchandise stock levels in the store, and check availability at other locations to satisfy customers’ needs. Utilize the inter-store transfer system to build sales. Open and close the boutique or outlet as needed. Close out cash drawer, perform closing procedures, and/or open store and perform opening procedures. Manage return and exchange transactions. Make customer service decisions in accordance with Company policy in the absence of a manager. Maintain the visual standards of your boutique or outlet and assist with the daily housekeeping/cleaning. Maintain merchandise presentation by assisting with the receipt of new stock and replenishment of the selling floor. Develop an excellent working knowledge of store’s computer systems to ring transactions and perform other functions such as receiving and transferring merchandise or sending merchandise via UPS. Assist in preventing loss of the company assets by theft or improper paperwork/procedures. Report any occurrences to the Managing Director. Assist with all other duties as required by the Managing Director, Sales Manager, and Assistant Manager.
