From a young age, I have always known that I want to work with children. I love being around kids and seeing the way they think. In recent years, I’ve come to know and understand that I would love to work within the medical field.Not only am I interested in the medical field, but I have made progress towards a career in the field. I was a president of HOSA (future health professionals) and have taken many health science courses through high school such as Medical Terminology and Medical Anatomy and Physiology.Once I became interested specifically in Pediatric Therapy, I knew I would love to participate in an internship. From January - May 2024 I participated in an observation internship at Orem Community Hospital in Pediatric Rehab. In the future, I would love to continue work as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. It’s a fulfilling job and allows me to work with children in a way that is beneficial to both me and them.
