Editor-at-Large for Graphite, UCSD’s undergraduate research journal for the Chemistry and Biochemistry department. I work with the Editor-at-Large to manage the editorial team, and review papers from new writers. Currently working to expand reader and writer base through outreach events, and coordinating, editing, and writing articles. Assisting in continuing a high school writing competition to promote scientific writing and education at a high school level.

Student researcher for the Sailor Lab Group, focusing on working with porous silicone nanotechnology for the development of chemical sensors and drug delivery systems.

Assisting in the preparation and study of silicon-based quantum dots as a nanotechnology demonstrator. Working to develop materials, descriptions, and web-based content for the educational science kits developed in the UC San Diego MRSEC RIMSE research immersion programs.
