My current role is in new business generation for sponsorship across both food and sport verticals for Fairfax Events. My role is focussed on developing client direct and agency relationships with potential partners and in turn developing creative business solutions to meet their needs. I work within a small team that delivers sponsorship solutions across 18 events including Good Food Month (previously Crave Sydney International Food Festival) and the City2Surf. I work closely with Fairfax mast heads to expand the sponsorship offering into a cross media platform solution. My team liaises with The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, Canberra Times, Daily Life, and Brisbane Times. My role includes the growth of new business prospects through the following avenues: • Sourcing new clients through effective media monitoring• Managing portfolio of clients across given verticals • Effectively delivering clients business objectives and needs and as a result the best sponsorship package• Educating prospective sponsors on the advantages and benefits of event sponsorship through the creation of bespoke sponsorship proposals • Proactively searching and acquired new sponsors through the development of lead generation and proposals at Marketing Manager and Agency Business Manager level.

My previous role at Westfield was as a Producer for Westfield Brandspace. In my role I was responsible for the creation of bespoke Media and Experiential solutions for both direct and agency clients. Within the Business Development team, I was responsible for the full creative process including sales pitch, ideation, proposal creation, negotiation, contract development, implementation, post campaign briefing and research. My key client’s included major companies in the Airlines, FMCG and banking industries.
