I am eager to apply my skills and experience to the climate and sustainability sector and work alongside other like-minded individuals to create positive change. I am deeply devoted to fighting climate change and eager to gain professional experience and network with other passionate individuals. I’m committed to bridging the gap between scientific research and community engagement, and I'm devoted to creating positive change for the planet and its people. Through my coursework and research, including Conservation Science & Community, Issues in Evolution, and Biology in the Age of Technology, I have developed strong scientific writing and research skills, as well as experience using social media to engage with the community. I have experience from previous class projects creating data visualization, infographics, informational TikToks, and HTML coded google sites. Additionally, as a member of the Ohio Chapter of the Sierra Club and a campaign participant in Statewide Plastics, Beyond Dirty Fuels, and Young Environmental Leaders, I have experience in grassroots activism and political engagement. I am also a member of Consumer Report's Hubs Leadership Team, where I'm currently involved in efforts aimed at urging Mississippi lawmakers to implement stringent regulations addressing PFAS contamination, advocating for measures to safeguard public health and the environment. These experiences have allowed me to develop strong collaboration and communication skills, which I believe is an invaluable addition to my skillset.
