-Synthesized 10 new small molecule sirT2 inhibitors and determined IC50 values of sirT2 inhibition via biochemical assays.-Tested lead compounds on a panel of blood cancers for potency (LD50).-Packaged lentiviral sirt 1-7 shRNA's for infection on a panel of acute myeloid leukemia cell lines. -Flow analysis of eGFP(+) cells and rt-qPCR of infected cells to confirm knockdown of sirt1-7 in acute myeloid leukemia cell lines and observe knockdown affects on gfp(+) over time. Successfully applied to 2 grants (NIH T32 and Brave Fellowship)Collaborate with cross-departmental research teams and the University of Washington providing synthetic support.
