I am a graduate student acquiring a Master’s in speech-language pathology at Samford University. While being at Samford, I have had the opportunity to travel overseas to India to help educate their SLPs on best current practices and to work with their medically complicated cases. I also have an undergraduate degree that is a bachelor’s of science that I obtained from Birmingham-Southern College while playing tennis there all four years. For two years I served as team captain and won the 2019 Sportsmanship award for our NCAA division. I currently have completed 3 internships (medical and pediatric) serving as a student speech pathologist at each site where I acquired full independence with my caseloads. I have years of experience working as a tennis coach and in interacting with those with special needs. I am an enthusiastic, caring, and considerate person who cannot wait to reach people and challenge them to be their best selves as I start my career.
