The North American Language and Culture Assistants Program is an initiative of the Ministry ofEducation, Culture and Sport of Spain to provide North Americans who are native speakers of English with the opportunity to assist teachers in the English programs in elementary, secondary or language schools in Spain.Language Assistants encourage students to broaden their knowledge of foreign language and culture by preparing activities that focus on language and culture, such as oral comprehension and speaking activities. Language Assistants also lead sessions with small groups of students.
