• Oversee the supplier approval processes and documents, support and work with Sourcing to maintain and improve the approved supplier program.• Develop raw material specifications while working with a variety of employees & departments as well as and suppliers. Gather and analyze data to identify key quality attributes, determine appropriate measurement guidelines/ tests for drafting specifications and working with Regulatory, QA and Sourcing to finalize and present to suppliers. In addition this position supports the Raw Material team in communicating with suppliers or Sourcing to address and resolve a variety of issues/ concerns. • Provide Technical/ Specification support to raw material groups at various locations within the Amy’s organization.• Maintain specification status database (specifications completed, versions, suppliers who have signed, CoA requirements, etc.) Audit and update Spec Tracker & maintain updates in Oracle as needed.

• Engage suppliers to focus on quality supply assurance and optimize the supply chain• Work with Material Planning to ensure material is released according to MRP requirements• Work with the supplier to ensure material is available to support material planning• Provide support and assistance to Raw Material Quality in problem resolution• Continuously monitor and provide feedback on supplier performance• Maintain vendor documents, certifications, and supplier item updates• Generate purchase orders in the Oracle database• Other projects as assigned
