Alyssa Barreda is an accomplished independent Mexican-American filmmaker and artist based in Arizona. With a passion for filmmaking and creating, Alyssa has been honing her craft over the years, specializing in multiple departments of Film Production, including Screenwriting, Directing, Producing, Cinematography, Editing, Art Design, Costume Design, Hair and Makeup Design. Her love for filmmaking is evident in her academic accomplishments; having graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Film and Media Production with a concentration in Directing from the Sidney Poitier New American Film School at Arizona State University. Prior to that, she earned an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Art from Pima Community College in 2019. Alyssa's dedication to her craft has led her to pursue further education, earning a certificate in the Film and TV Summer Institute program from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2018.Alyssa's passion for filmmaking extends beyond the technical aspects of production. She is also knowledgeable in fashion, having taken multiple courses in Fashion at Arizona State University and has a particular interest in wardrobe styling. This passion for creativity and attention to detail is evident in all of her work.In 2022, Alyssa established Lynae Productions LLC, a film and digital media production company, to create diverse and original artistic mediums by collaborating with independent artists of all kinds. Her extensive experience working on numerous short films and video projects throughout her film career has equipped her with the expertise to produce compelling and visually stunning projects. Alyssa is always seeking new collaborations to explore and expand the boundaries of her craft, with a steadfast commitment to creating unique and captivating content.Alyssa is a person who works in the movement to organize with artists to move our community to take action toward a thriving future in Arizona.
