I joined the Precious Gem team with little prior knowledge of high-end jewelry, diamond sales, and jewelry repair. By the end of my time there, I confidently sold tens of thousands in engagement rings, anniversary gifts, and other pieces while helping to make the inventory organization and appraisal-writing process more effecient.

I am both a passionate cook and tea drinker, and I used my knowledge in this realm to provide recommendations and assistance to customers. My favorite role was working behind the tea counter, where I served custom blends, and sometimes helped customers come up with their own combinations! Half of my day was also spent with inventory, packaging and hand-blending the product we sold.

During my time with the Torrance Theatre Company, I held many roles, such as scenic painter, usher, set construction crew, and social media specialist to name a few. My biggest responsibilities were as the Production Assistant for "Sister Act" in 2017 where I designed the PlayBill and helped the Artistic Director in all aspects of the production, and as the Stage Manager for "Beauty and the Beast" in 2019 through a grant with the Los Angeles County Arts Commission. I managed a crew of over 100 people through the very first days of rehearsals right up to calling the final curtain of closing night.

I started working with the Samburu Project in high school, reaching out to both local and international businesses for support in our fundraising efforts. In 2017, I helped organize the nonprofit's yearly gala and silent auction where we celebrated raising enough funds to construct our 100th well. I was recognized as the Intern of the Year at the event and kept working with the Samburu Project until I left for college.
