Mental Health Technician Iii
Current- Orients new patients to the treatment program and to its requirement, intent, and routine- Monitors all patients through the treatment experience by maintaining line of sight from start to end of shift and records whereabouts on Round Sheets- Establishes self as a positive role model by demonstrating a professional and caring manner with co-workers, patients, and guest alike- Facilitates therapeutic groups based on the Program schedule and able to engage patients throughout- Documents individual progress notes and a shift report by shift's end for treatment team and insurance purposes via KIPU EMR- Able to maintain composure in emergency or high-risk situations and ensures there an incident report is documented in response or the appropriate authorities are contacted- Provides day-to-day support of patients and helps patients engage in positive coping skills or directs them based on DBT framework
