As a member of the Director's Office of Equity, Sustainability and Tribal Affairs (ESTA), I as the Strategic Communications Analyst am responsible for drafting effective internal and external communications to support ESTA in promoting and aligning sustainability, equity and tribal affairs initiatives across the department. I am responsible for developing communication plans; developing press releases and other communication materials; updating the ESTA web pages; developing and providing presentation support; assisting with copy editing of reports; and remediation of public facing materials. I work closely with the leads of the various ESTA branches. As the Demands Advising Council (DAC) Coordinator for Future Coalition's climate finance campaign, I recruited and coordinated a council of representatives from movement organizations whose work aligned closely with our campaign or represented a key constituency in the climate justice movement. I built one-on-one relationship with allied organizations, facilitated monthly council meetings, and oversaw a collaborative, cross-movement process to research and draft the campaign's demands set.
