About Alyssa Lee

I am a climate action campaigner and movement-builder with 9 years experience as a paid climate organizer focusing on youth and students. I have had extensive involvement in grassroots climate organizing since 2012. I have over 8 years experience developing strong facilitation, logistics coordination, and public speaking skills. I have great love for my hometown in the northern Central Valley and my experiences there have been the driver of my commitment to environmental justice. I lived in the Boston area for 6 years which opened my eyes to the joys and transformative possibilities of walkable, mixed-use, and economically resilient communities that are not car-dependent. Now that I have returned to California, I am excited to deepen my commitment to climate, energy, and transportation justice and to gain more experience working across stakeholders of citizens, governments, and industry.
