Responsible for the UI of our flagship product OpsCenter. In collaboration with my manager, I built a new team with 5 of the most talented UI engineers within Kratos. Our team is responsible for holding the UI standard of excellence setting an example for all products within Kratos. My responsibilities include facilitating a seamless transfer of knowledge between UX design and UI implementation. In my experience designers and developers often struggle to work together. I bridge that gap between beautiful functional designs and implementation of those designs into working products. Working closely with UX and Product Management, I flush out all the requirements and expectations of the UI. I bring those requirements to development in the form of stories and tasks. I have daily demos to ensure UI’s are being implemented as expected. My eye for consistency and detail is sharp. With 20% of my time dedicated to coding, I am always available to help refine styles, mentor, and collaborate when coding challenges arise within the team. I have established a weekly UI Community of Practice meeting. This is where all UI developers from within Kratos can meet to discuss anything related to UI. We demo, explore new technologies, discuss existing workflows, pair program, bring up concerns about current UI/UX implementations and how they can be made better. This meeting unities developers, offers support, UI consistency, and inspires creativity company wide. I have created a safe forum to ask questions, express ideas, and seek support.

Design and develop software for satellite management. Specialize in GUI design and development for rich clients using WPF. Currently working on web interface using Angular 5. Collaborate with Marketing to create consistent styles for all Kratos products. Also working on branding elements within all Kratos products. Responsible for all mockups and wireframes relating to new features within the Monics product line. Work exclusively with product managers translating their product requirements into software designs.

Primarily work with C#. Collaborate with Marketing to create a cutting edge product interface.Took desperate company applications and branded them with a consistent look and feel. I created a branding guide, style guide, and UI best practices guide. The goal was to create a consistent user experience for our customers. The styles were so well received that soon all the products within Kratos were implementing the branding and style guidelines I set into place.

Customers constantly comment on the look and it attracts numerous potential customers to our booths at trade shows and our website online. Created a new GUI using .NET C# for NeuralStar, an enterprise level network monitoring application. The goal was to provide all the functionality of multiple applications in one standard interface. Solely responsible for the architecture and development of the GUI framework. In 2005 the company was re-launched based on the new enterprise interface. Since the inception of the new design, I have been responsible for every visual aspect of the client application. Experience at AiMetrix which was acquired by SYS Technologies.
