FDR Magazine was a bi-monthly editorial highlighting the high-end architecture and interior design of the West Coast of Florida. Issue One was released in August 2007. I was initially brought in as an intern in the advertising department. After graduation I was offered the position of Production Coordinator in which I was responsible for meeting with our client's marketing and advertising teams to gather and review print ads to ensure they met both the production and aesthetic requirements for publication. I also created our Media Kit for AEs to highlight the FDR value proposition and ultimately drive sales. I also planned and hosted two sales-driven events, each attended by over 200 clients, vendors,and contributors.After 3 months I was promoted to Account Manager, responsible for developing relationships with potential clients in the Tampa Bay area. Although the magazine only had two issues in circulation I was able to secure over $50,000 in advertising contracts.
