In Dr. Jacob Mueller's lab, I used a multifaceted approach harnessing the power of evolutionary genetics, molecular techniques such as CRISPR/Cas9 and large scale omics approaches to study male infertility in mouse models. This work identified novel genes essential for fertility as well as genes involved in intragenomic conflict (meiotic drive).In addition to first author peer-reviewed publications, I have given oral presentations at national and international conferences.
