I am a rising fourth-year student at UC San Diego double majoring in Political Science: Public Law and Sociology: Law and Society and minoring in Health Care - Social Issues.I have experience in leadership, interpersonal communication, and organization. My peers and mentors describe me as a driven, passionate, and empathetic leader. In my undergraduate career, I'm hoping to gain work experience that will supplement my career in law and advocacy and also prepare me for law school. Thus far, I’ve gained limited experience working with criminal and family law cases. I aspire to pursue law due to my passion for the fields of social justice and equal rights for marginalized groups. I've advanced my knowledge of the healthcare industry through my studies as my previous understanding of medicine stemmed from having a network of doctors within my family. I find interest in the intersection of epidemiological issues and health-related issues. I hope to gain more professional experience in the legal profession specifically in hopes of entering the public interest sector upon graduating law school.I am currently seeking a legal internship or experience in any field, so feel free to message me on LinkedIn or at a1lim@ucsd.edu.
