I perform a variety of duties such as office and clerical support for the Family Protection Division of the San Diego County District Attorney's Office. As a student worker, I must be enrolled full-time at my university and devote 15-20 hours per week to my assigned division. The Family Protection Division prosecutes crimes of murder, domestic violence, stalking, crimes against children, and elder abuse while supporting victims of crime with criminal justice agencies and community partners.

The San Diego JusticeCorp program is devoted to aiding the 3.2 million people living in San Diego County who may not be able to afford legal representation and be in need of assistance when trying to navigate through complicated court proceedings. As a JusticeCorp intern, I completed 300 hours of volunteer service consisting of providing legal information, referrals, and assisting form completion to self-represented litigants. Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream has an intense focus on making every customer's experience at our shops invaluable. As an ambassador, I aided customers find the perfect ice cream pairing unique to their personal interests. I memorized over 30 ice cream flavors and their unique tastes. Working at Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream allowed me to gain more knowledge in interpersonal communication, customer service, and teamwork. I have seasonally worked at Jeni's for two summers and enjoyed my time there.
