I manage a house of 35+ residents per semester in Berkeley very close to campus. My duties include managing housing contracts, collecting rent and keeping track of revenue, house maintenance and upkeep, supervising two assistant housing managers, and resolve tenant concerns in order to keep a harmonious living environment for residents. In addition, I help with coordinating room placements and recruiting new members to the house each semester. I conducted a region-wide cancer screening assessment by organizing and conducting dozens of interviews with medical directors, physicians and clinical staff, and regional consultants. I analyzed this data and gleaned best practices that could inform better ways in which sites can effectively screen more patients and promote preventative measures. As the final deliverable, I presented these findings to senior clinical and administrative leadership.

The Gold Council is a student leadership program designed to educate students on the skills and tools that may be useful when serving on a conduct committee hearing. We provide outreach presentations and programming to educate the campus community in regards to the Principles of Community and the Code of Student Conduct.

Neural Basis and Plasticity of Internal Distractions I assist in a project that conducts research on the neural basis and plasticity of internal distractions, collecting behavioral and EEG data from healthy young and older volunteers. In addition, I help with participant recruitment and monitor screenings for training studies. I primarily conduct and monitor EEG experiments, which focus on analyzing memory, distraction, cognitive function, and the neuroplasticity of the brain.
