Throughout my time at the University of New Hampshire, I have been given the opportunity to explore many different fields of study, but have found my passion within the Information Systems & Business Analytics (ISBA) focus with a dual major in Sustainability. These two topics may not have the most apparent connection, but my fellowship experience and educational opportunities have proven otherwise.After years of trying to find the most effective ways of integrating sustainability into the business world, I was able to do this first-hand during my fellowship through the UNH Sustainability Institute when working with Prime Buchholz LLC, an investment consulting firm out of Portsmouth, NH. This experience not only provided me with a greater understanding of sustainable practices within the finance industry, but connected me with many like-minded individuals who I share similar passions with. My degree in Business Administration (ISBA) has allowed me to learn and enhance my hard skills such as data visualization, programming, project management, and much more. On the other hand, my Sustainability Dual Major has allowed me to combine my hard skills with well-practiced soft skills, such as communication, problem solving, leadership, and critical thinking. The connection between these two areas of study has made me grateful for the unique perspective I am able to offer in a professional setting following my graduation.
