Endeva works with companies and other actors to create and improve inclusive business models. This private-sector led development approach encourages companies to work strategically in low-income markets to both get a profit and further local economic development.As a project manager and researcher at Endeva, I work with teams to develop projects, carry them out, and disseminate results. My experience includes:- Gained a significant and current store of knowledge of inclusive business models in many sectors and regions- Conducted many interviews with experts - entrepreneurs, NGOs, government, impact investment, etc. - which has provided a wide perspective on how to overcome common barriers faced in inclusive business- Moderation and facilitation of workshops with practitioners, such as Bringing Medicines to Low Income Markets; also one-on-one workshops with companies- Develop conference concepts, such as the International Business Forum 2013 on Green and Inclusive Business, to great success according to participant evaluations- Working effectively either in groups or independently in international settings, for example skillfully managing 6 case writers based in sub-Saharan Africa to produce 10 new Growing Inclusive Markets case studies for UNDP- Writing of case studies, the latest were presented at the 2013 G20 conference in Kenya - Analysis and acquisition of qualitative and quantitative data for reports and market researchEndeva is a small company; thus I have seen first-hand and assisted in the organizational aspects of running a company. I am in charge of Endeva's communications, including social media, website content management, outreach events, etc.
