In a fast-paced, changing world, I decided that I was going to follow the advice a teacher from high school had given me. "Compete with a purpose, regardless of who you are up against," he would tell me. As a second-year college student attempting to start her career, I embrace the challenges I'm given, determined to be the exception. My projects not only fulfill someone's needs, but expand their vision of what potential they have. When I work with graduate assistants, I sometimes feel that they doubt the hard work they have put into their programs, but after designing marketing assets and promoting their events, I see their confidence rise. I enjoy helping smaller organizations with improving their presence and received engagement. What I learn in the classroom is combined with my creativity and ambition to create content for my clients. Marketing can be such a large umbrella term, but the content I create can range from illustration to web design to photography.Completing an Associate in Science and contributing countless hours to organizations while still in high school taught me to seek out any opportunity for personal growth. I am always looking for a challenge, for a way to improve my craft. I love working in teams and teaching others too; I'm always happy when a little bit of knowledge can impact people long-term.
