May 2023, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. During my time at WSU, I've worked in three different research labs. They focused on infant temperament, youth psychopathology, and personality, psychopathology, and assessment. Through these labs, I've been able to work with graduate students and help in their research and contribute to peer-reviewed articles and poster presentations. In the fall, I will begin my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Eastern Michigan University. I will be researching parent-child interactions while looking at the social, cognitive and health outcomes of pediatric chronic illness. Specifically, I will be researching obesity in minority populations and the possible interventions that can be implemented to improve health outcomes.
