I work with both inpatients and outpatients and support individuals who are struggling with mood or adjustment post-operatively, or who are going through and/or adjusting to advanced heart failure treatments. I also hold a faculty appointment through Northwestern's Feinberg School of Medicine, where consistent with my interests in culturally-adapted interventions and health disparities, I am involved in medical education with an emphasis on diversity, inclusion, and culturally competent and humble communication. I serve as co-chair of the Department of Surgery Diversity Committee. -
