Representing over 600,000 licensed practitioners, IHPC is the leading health policy consortium advocating for the interests of practitioners and patients and the right to access the safe, regulated health care of our choice (and to have it covered/reimbursed by insurance.) As Executive Director, I engaged with fellow advocates and allied organizations to develop campaigns to reach practitioners and patients to affect positive change in the healthcare landscape, and to ensure our collective voice is heard by legislators, policy makers and state/federal agencies. We achieved this via educational outreach activities such as congressional briefings, the organization of key policy stakeholder conferences, testimony and comments to federal agencies, (see Policy Docs at www.ihpc.org), the development and publication of white papers and booklets, and patient-centered campaigns such as "CoverMyCare" (www.covermycare.org) and more.

Heel Inc was the US subsidiary of Heel GmbH, an international homeopathic pharmaceutical and distributor with annual global sales of over $200M. As Director of Sales and Marketing, I reported directly to CEO with P+L responsibility for sales, medical and marketing departments (45 employees, 4 direct reports); budget of $5M. Developed and executed all sales and marketing concepts for the 200+ product line in collaboration with corporate headquarters team in Baden-Baden, Germany. Led creative planning, evolution and execution of all internal and external corporate communication to medical providers to continually activate interest within the medical market (including acupuncturists, MDs, naturopathic doctors, massage therapists, homeopaths, chiropractors and midwives.) Created new scope of educational programs directed toward medical professionals (tripled educational events to 300 programs annually including symposiums, roundtables, seminars and national tours).
